Serviio allows you to stream your media files (music, video or images) to any DLNA certified device given (eg a TV set, games console) on your home network. Serviio uses a metadata extraction based on priority so that you can choose how metadata should describe your media files (eg audio track name, DVD cover, TV series and episodes names, etc.). It includes metadata embedded into the media files themselves, the locally stored metadata files and metadata that can be obtained online.
